Simon Cowell had eggs hurled at him from the stage by a violinist during the final of Britain's Got Talent. She was making a stand about his "dreadful influence" on the music industry.
The woman, violist Natalie Holt, appeared on Britain’s Got Talent with the Raven Quartet in 2012. She had interrupted Welsh opera singers Richard and Adam Johnson‘s performance of “The Impossible Dream,” so when she released a statement on her latest Talent appearance, she addressed the Johnsons directly.
“I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance,” she said, according to the Daily Mail. “I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.”
Ms Holt is an accomplished and well regarded musician. Not only does she play the viola and violin, but also plays the piano, mouth organ, guitar, Chinese harp and vocals, and has worked with a host of A list musical talent.
