The group snagged the awards for the highly coveted Record of The Year, Song of the Year, Performance by a Duo or Group and Country Song of the Year for their smash hit “Need You Now” as well as Country Album of the Year for the US triple PLATINUM ‘Need You Now’. “We’re still just soaking it in,” said Hillary Scott. “It was a huge night, and we may even still be in shock!”
“The way the music community has embraced us is unbelievable,” continued Charles Kelley. “Being asked to perform at the GRAMMYs last year was a career highlight, and to see how that really helped set off what has become the biggest year of our lives is surreal.”
“Our fans have given us the most incredible ride,” concludes Dave Haywood. “We are going straight home and back into the studio to keep working on the new record.”
